His expertise in each state and often in specific jurisdictions is unparalleled. Mr. Garza personally works with each of the teams in the firm so that he has involvement and representation on each client. In addition, his 15 years at Shell Oil Company, provided him with the opportunity to master the intricacies associated with the energy industry as well as familiarization with the corporate environment. A graduate of the University of Houston, with a degree in finance, he holds the CMI designation, is an Affiliate of the Appraisal Institute and a candidate of the American Society of Appraisers. Licensed in both the State of Tennessee and the State of Arizona, he is also a Senior Tax Consultant in Texas and a Registered Agent in Los Angeles County.

Mr. Cohen is a Partner at Industrial Valuation Services in the Austin office and a licensed property tax consultant in Texas, Tennessee, and Arizona. With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in valuing industrial and complex properties, handling compliance, audits, and appeals for real and personal property taxes. He also oversees training for new agents and consults on valuation and appeal processes. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, he holds the CMI designation and is a candidate of the American Society of Appraisers.

Ms. Cohen is the General Counsel and a Valuation Engineer at Industrial Valuation Services, specializing in representing refinery and chemical clients. With years of experience in complex industrial property administration and reporting, she is skilled in securing improved value positions for clients. Her expertise spans tax compliance and valuation nationwide, with a strong track record of negotiating successful tax appeals, leading to significant reductions. Ms. Cohen’s experience includes light and heavy manufacturing, steel, aluminum, cement, aggregates, glass, chemicals, oil & gas, and mining.

Ms. Langford, an appraiser since 1984, modernized property data systems and stays current on legislation and administrative matters for the firm’s largest clients.
